KEBS accepts test reports from ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories. The reports are evaluated before acceptance in the certification process.
Accredited laboratories have valid ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from an accrediting body such as KENAS. A designated laboratory is one designated by KEBS after meeting the requirements of the EAC SQMT Act of 2006.
